I am also a player of Korean traditional drum!
I am a member of three music clubs—Samuchim, Dachwita, and Minjok Orchestra—playing the Korean traditional drum for three years. I performed at school entrance and graduation ceremonies, for a local house of disabled residents, and at the Minsaum school music festival.
samuchim
Samuchim is KMLA’s one and only samulnori (traditional Korean percussion) club. We performed at the school’s annual concert and entrance ceremony.
minjok orchestra
Minjok Orchestra is a fusion ensemble combining traditional Korean and Western music. We performed at a local house for people with disabilities and at the school’s annual concert.
dachwita
Dachwita is KMLA’s representative royal court music club, performing at every official school event.
